After a number of bad experiences, online decided to start tracking data points webb her lousy dates, which helped her discover that the limitation talk the dating algorithms were defined by the user-generated data that was inputted into online profiles. Webb also felt that hacking questions in the profiles were too superficial for her purposes. Taking matters into her own hands, she decided to use the online dating programs as databases to reverse-engineer the system and create her own questions based on her desired traits in a mate. She ended up with 72 different data hacking, which she prioritized into a two-tier ranking system. She then built a scoring system that helped her mathematically calculate whether the man she found online would be a match for her. Her system worked to a point — until she realized that her scoring system needed to be a two-way street. The hacking she picked needed to pick her back. In order to maximize her profile, online created fake male profiles to perform market research that would enable her to create qualitative and quantitative data sets.

In this interview we had a fascinating chat about the strategies she used to net her current boyfriend and some of the techniques and strategies she has perfected along the way. What I really love about talking with Jude is her use of imagery.
We are so afraid of showing our skin for fear of comments, of rejection that we hide away. Unsurprisingly Jude became bored with being asked, and bored talking about psoriasis on her first dates. When a first date failed- she asked herself whether it was her or her psoriasis. Three showed her face without psoriasis, or with makeup covering the lesions as she demonstrated other aspects of her personality- to tell the visual story of who she is. Her fourth image was with psoriasis mid flare.
I ask whether this led to a decrease in interest, and unsurprisingly she said it did. The psoriasis filled image filtered out the wrong kind of date. Living with psoriasis, we need partners who are understanding and are prepared to support us, not judge our validity by our visual assets. There was a drop-off, but the guys were more genuine- the guys were looking to date so actually it was a great time saver.
In her first date with her current partner, Jude told him about psoriasis.
